Q. What is the difference between the Simulation Category and the Strategy Category?

A. シミュレーション部門では、各チームが開発したAIエージェントを提出し、Kaggle上で継続的に対戦を行います。
ストラテジー部門では、各チームはシミュレーション部門で提出したAIエージェントがどのような戦略をもって構築されたかをレポートとして提出します。

A. In the Simulation Category, teams will submit their developed AI Training Agent for continuous automated matches on Kaggle. In the Strategy Category, teams must submit a report detailing the strategic logic behind the AI Training Agent submitted to the Simulation Category.

A. No prize money is provided for the Simulation Category. In the First Round, prize money is awarded to the teams responsible for the top ranking submissions in the Strategy Category.

審査について

Judging

Q. ストラテジー部門の審査員はどのような人たちですか？

Q. Who are the judges for the Strategy Category?

A. 株式会社松尾研究所、HEROZ株式会社、および株式会社ポケモンの専門家チームが審査を行います。機械学習の専門的な知見と、ポケモンカードゲームの深い戦略的理解の両面から、厳正に審査されます。

A. Judging will be conducted by a panel of experts from The Pokémon Company, HEROZ, Inc., Matsuo Research Institute, Inc. Evaluations will be made strictly based on both professional machine learning expertise and deep strategic understanding of the Pokémon TCG.

Q. 第二ラウンドへの参加者はどう選ばれますか？

Q. How are participants for the Second Round selected?

A. 第一ラウンドのストラテジー部門成績上位から8チームが選ばれます。
上位8チームの中から第二ラウンドへの出場を棄権したチームがいた場合、9位以下が繰り上げで出場権を獲得します。

A. The Top 8 teams from the First Round Strategy Category will be selected. If a qualifying team declines to participate, the spot will be offered to the next highest-ranking team (9th Place and below).
